Petstools are a series of footstools created by German-American designer Hanna Emelie Ernsting. Hanna’s creative approach transforms the concept of a regular stool into a completely delightful experience.

Petstools are not only stools or footstools, but delightfully cozy companions enhanced with new aspects. You can put your feet up… or plunge them into the soft material to warm them.

The minimalistic shapes are skillfully crafted to evoke associations with animals and “irresistibly invite you to pet them and be amused”. These cozy companions can be used by kids and adults alike, transforming any conventional space into a  playful one. In the same time, any kids room can be enhanced and transformed into a novelty and fun space.

The many different animal forms offer creative combination possibilities and will spark the collector’s passion.

The Petstools are completely covered with soft, thick and cuddly fabric that is knitted and mainly made of wool. The cover can be completely removed and washed. Under the cover a pillow filled with eps pallets makes the body of the stool flexible, fluffy and extremely comfortable. The structure is made out four sturdy metal legs and a foam-covered solid plate.
