The design of the iconic Boby storage unit has lasted through decades. Created by Joe Colombo in 1970, the trolley was originally designed to meet the needs of an architect or designer, but through the years, it has made its way through homes, offices, labs and even surgeries.
In 1971 it was awarded first prize at SMAU, and today it part of the permanent collection of both MoMA and the “Triennale” in Milan. The highly versatile design, along with bold pop colours, make it one of the most popular storage trolleys. Boby is equipped with injection-moulded ABS plastic drawers and compartments, allowing for a stylish modular storage solution.
The storage unit can be purchased through the Italian design company B-LINE, and is available in five different colours: white, black, red, lime green, tornado and grey.
