Antonio Farina has created a series of fun cuckoo clocks for Italian manufacturer Progetti. Inspired by the labor of man, Strong Cuckoo 1 & 2 emphasize the transformation of an ordinary item, into a contemporary object that is simple but significant, strong and well defined.

A cuckoo clock that aims to inspire us, reminding us that time passes and that we must continue moving, finding the strength and energy to do what we must.

The wall or table cuckoo clocks are composed of two and three bodies of various sizes, heights, and colours. The painted wood elements are positioned according to a staggered framework, creating a dynamic composition. A light sensor automatically turns off the cuckoo sound in the absence of light, making sure you are not disturbed during a good night sleep.

Strong Cuckoo 1 is composed of two bodies, and comes in three different colour combinations: white and yellow, white and light blue, white and black.

Strong Cuckoo 2 is the larger version of the two, having three staggered elements in the same three colour combinations as its smaller ‘sibling’.
