Two major players in Italian gastronomy have joined forces to develop Mia, a kitchen design collaboration between Scavolini and Michelin-starred chef and reality star Carlo Cracco.
After two years of collaborating on the design and construction, the Mia kitchen was created with a concentration of both parties’ skills: superior manufacturing quality combined with the finest cooking techniques.
The finished design is a solution that speaks about the love of life in the kitchen, of superior ingredients, and the passion for authentic cooking.
Mia is a stunning residential interpretation of a professional chef’s kitchen, the distinguishing feature of which is its seriously upgraded technological features. The system is geared towards professional meal prep, with steel-finished appliances for dehydrating food, vacuum packing and a proofing oven.
Multi-functional appliances like an oven and a heating lamp ensure delicacies can be kept warm while waiting to be served, and an instant vacuum-sealing machine with a built-in marinating function, and a high-tech hood will make any home cook feel like a top chef.
In terms of styling, Mia stands out for its contrasts: the sleek steel finish of its hard-working appliances is contrasted with kitchen cabinets clad in warmer hues like clay and stone, providing a professional look without the sterile industrial feel.
The flexible and comprehensive system allows for designs tailored to any space, and it performs equally well in the kitchen and the living areas of the house.
It benefits from a large selection of finishes, from rich walnut veneers to super-modern nanotech surfaces and can be equipped with countless accessories. The proprietary wall cladding system (Line) allows for further personalization of function and aesthetics.
