There is no shortage of design innovation when it comes to Italian manufacturer Foscarini. Their designs are a constant source of inspiration with a perfect blend of technology and art. Recently the company has released their newest catalogue and it’s by no means a traditional one. Named Ritratti, the catalogue presents itself more like a coffee table book than a commercial catalogue, featuring stunning photography in idyllic places.
The publication features the works of famous photographers such as Andrea Ferrari, Kasia Gatkowska and Tommaso Satori who shot the collections in various locations. Tommaso Sartori was given complete artistic freedom to showcase Foscarini’s outdoor collections in Venice and Thiene.
The result is a stunning collection of imagery that expresses the many different ways Foscarini’s outdoor lamps can be showcased. The settings are surreal featuring products like the Outdoor Gregg Terra, Havana Outdoor and Uto Outdoor.
With photographs taken in Verona and Vicenza, Andrea Ferrari presents Foscarini’s products in bright vivid environments, as well as minimalist settings. This just stands to show how versatile and innovative the products are. Some of the showcased lamps are Twiggy, Lightweight and Uto.
Kasia Gatkowska takes us to Rimini and Milan in more intimate settings featuring the iconic Twiggy lamp as well as the Spokes collection. If you ever needed inspiration on how to create cozy and warm environments with contemporary lighting, her photographs take you there.
