Luca Nichetto has recently presented at the Milan Design Week his newest collaboration with Foscarini, the successor of the popular Plass Grande, scaled down to smaller and domestic dimensions. The Plass Media stays true to the magical appeal of its ‘bigger sister’ and comes in the same colours: grey and light blue.

The familiar image of Murano pearl is interpreted on a different scale, using a 21st century material and process : rotationally moulded polycarbonate. As a result of the technology used, the finishes have slight irregularities that recall the imperfections of glass, underlined by the dual light source.

The groves on the lamp create a play of shadow and light offering a warm and cozy atmosphere.
