Simon Pengelly collaborated with British design brand Modus, to create a contemporary take on a Scandinavian style chair. Called Norse, the chair uses steam-bent wood to create the delicate curvilinear shape. The elliptical legs and arms connect with a pressed ply seat and backrest, creating an elegant transition.

The chair is available in natural ash and oak, or a variety of paint finishes. Modus also offers an option with upholstered seat, in a wide range of fabrics and leathers.
