Normann Copenhagen adds 6 news designs to Geo range

Normann Copenhagen has recently added six new designs to their award winning Geo range. Designed by Danish designer Nicholai Wiig Hansen, the Geo range combines the sleek minimalistic style characteristic of Normann Copenhagen, with sharp masculine edges. Along with the award winning Geo Vacuum Jug, the range is set to include a tray, milk jug, sugar bowl, and three different sizes of lidded jars.

The design of the Geo range has been stripped down of all unnecessary details, to reveal a minimalistic geometric design. The series is made of lightweight plastic, featuring a glossy inside, and a lovely mat finish on the outside. Putting aside aesthetics, the designer has taken into consideration the everyday use of the Geo range, making all products in the series dishwasher-friendly.

The idea behind Geo was to make a range of products with character. I’ve worked with the lines, circles and shapes of the products to create a geometric harmony. The very shapes give the Geo range an edgy and graphic look, and the combined use of classic and light colours help to soften the masculine appearance.

The stylistic design of the Geo Tray, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug compliment perfectly the Geo Vacuum Jug, yet their minimalism allows them to be used in combination with other tea and coffee sets.

The Geo set comes available in several colours, making it easy to develop a colour scheme, or simply mix and match to your desire. The various sizes and colours make the lidded jars suitable and decorative for serving as well as storage throughout the entire home.

Use them in the bathroom for cotton pads and hair clips, in the workspace for office supplies, in the bedroom for jewellery or in the hallway for keeping keys and coins in for example.
