Moooi has launched a new line of sumptuous beauty products for luxury hotels. The line includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand wash, hand lotion, vanity box and soap. The design of the packaging takes inspiration from the brand’s own name. In Dutch the word ‘mooi’ means beautiful. The bottles have been designed to symbolize the shape of Moooi’s extra O, which symbolizes an extra value in terms of beauty and uniqueness.

The bottles were purposely designed upside down to make them more functional and ready for immediate use. This is also the first time the company has released its own scent: The Unexpected Welcome. The fragrance incorporates a fresh blend, starting with a light top note of bergamot, cardamom and nutmeg lead over to a warm, aromatic-woody heart of lavender and cedar wood and are perfectly complemented by a deep, elegant base note of patchouli, tobacco and musk.

The line uses all natural ingredients, avoiding any damaging ingredients such as solvents, paraben, silicone, artificial colouring or animal ingredients.

MOOOI’s formula contains active botanicals and vitamins, and is inspired by the beauty and richness of nature. While they all have special nurturing properties, it is interesting to list a few of the ingredients and their effect on our skin. Glycerine, for example, ‘locks’ moisture inside cells and prevents excessive moisture loss through the skin. Vitamin B5 revitalizes and reconditions the skin while Jojoba Oil has highly emollient properties.

Naturally obtained ingredients such as Grape Seed Oil and Aloe Vera respectively help keep the skin supple and have strong anti-inflammatory qualities, while Olive Oil is highly nourishing and Shea Butter soothes and hydrates the damaged skin. Sweet Almond Oil is the perfect oil to carry other nutritive substances, while Wheat Protein helps support the skin’s matrix and gives it an anti-ageing boost.
