The Molecule seating system by Stefano Bigi for Italian manufacturer La Cidivina, is a fun solution to public seating. The molecular and polyvalent composition reminds us of puzzle pieces that are just waiting to be put together.

Molecule consists of four different types of seats, and one small table, allowing numerous possible seating configurations. The centrepiece of the system is an original trefoil structure, with smaller upholstered elements and small round tables placed freely around it. The shape of the elements allow for the pieces to interact with each other, adapting to any environment.

The structure of the molecular pieces consists of a wooden frame covered with non-deforming, expanded polyurethane padding of different thicknesses and polyester fibres. The system is available in a variety of colours and two finishes: fabric or leather.
