Belgian manufacturer PER/USE, in collaboration with Note, has created a set of lamps inspired by the Dutch artist M. C. Escher. The reference to Escher is present in the name of the lamps, MCE, as well as the wooden frame that was inspired by the geometrical patterns of the Dutch artist.
The lamps were originally designed by the Stockholm based design studio Note, as a one-off piece for the Glass Elephant exhibition during the Stockholm Design Week.
The lamps feature a tilting bowl that allows for easy redirection of the light, and come in three different sizes: 20cm, 30cm, and 45cm. The translucent glass is available in a green, blue and pink version.
