Kristian Aus launches the Ziggy Hook through Kickstarter

Ziggy is a project that is very close to Kirstian Aus‘ heart. For the last few years, the Sydney-based designer has been designing and producing products through his design consultancy Autumn, and his brand UNDER. Being a big believer in the idea that design should be democratic and accessible, he has launched Ziggy through Kickstarter. If you are not familiar with Kickstarter, it is a platform that provides a way for independent designers to easily present their work, and provide backers with an economical path to buy well designed products. Kristian Aus launches the Ziggy Hook through Kickstarter

The Ziggy hook is a strong, modular coat hook that lets users create functional patterns on their walls. Made from folded steel, with a powder-coat finish, Ziggy is designed to be extremely strong. The product can be used by itself as a single hook, or paired with several elements to create a short or long coat rack.

The Ziggy can be arranged in straight lines or in crazy patterns. It can even be offset to get twice the hooks into tight spaces. The clever design lets users add a touch of design to the smallest spaces by allowing them to hook things through it, hang things on it, or even rest small objects on top.

The Ziggy is powder coated to soften its edges and provide a durable, hard wearing finish, that helps protect delicate fabrics. The hook is mounted with two or four screws, making it very strong for any application you may have in mind. Each Ziggy is very easy to install, and comes with a template that allows for accurate screw positions, and provides and easy way to line up multiple hooks for a perfect unique pattern.
