Innermost has recently announced their presence at this year’s Maison et Object in Paris, and designjunction in London. Along with their design classics, the brand will introduce some of their latest additions to their collection: SNOWDROP by Stone Designs, LATITUDE by Flynn Talbot, and PARASOL by Jonas Forsman.
SNOWDROP by Stone Designs
After bringing to life Innermost’s latest exhibition design ‘The Punk Club’, designers Cutu Mazuelos and Eva Prego from Stone Designs, introduce Snowdrop.
This delightful lamp was derived from many hours of observing the quiet beauty of various bulbous plants such as the Spring Snowflake, the Lily of the Valley, and of course, the Snowdrop – slender stems gently bowing from the combined weight of a string of colourful blossoms.
The designers abstracted a clean, minimalist shape that resembles the delicate qualities of their inspiration source, carrying with them the various stories and references behind each plant. The resulting Snowdrop light features a soft glow that playfully peeks through candy-coloured veils. With multiple colours to choose from, each pendant adds a delicate, yet playful touch to any interior.
Flynn Talbot transformed the average spotlight into a centerpiece rather than the usual industrial support lighting. He developed a clever suspesion cable that allows the light to be pointed in any direction, creating a flexible light that activated the surrounding space. The light will be available in October 2014.
Soft, gentle reflected light is cradled in a very literal parasol in Jonas Forsman’s simple design. The free movement of the shade gently guides the light to its intended use. Forman’s designs focus on the interaction between user and product, aiming to delight through refined and balance movements. The light will be available in October 2014.
