The Heracleum II by Moooi is an LED lamp inspired by the Heracleum Plan. Designed by Bertjan Pot, the hanging lamp uses Marcel Wander’s Electrosandwich technology.
The white delicate lenses ramify from one branch, creating technical, yet natural structure. The thin and delicate shape of the lamp is made possible through the use of conductive layers technique.
The leaves of the lamp are quite flexible, and can be re-positioned by rotating them around their stem. Heracleum II comes in two finishes: Nickel and Copper, giving the structure a subtle look against the white LED leaves.
The collection includes the “Heracleum II” which was designed in 2010, “Heracleum II Small” and “Heracleum the Big O”, both made available in 2012.
