Spanish artist-designer Jamie Hayon, of Hayon Studio, brings his theatricality and attention to details to Nirav Modi’s flagship boutique. Located in the upmarket Defence Colony area in New Delhi, the jewelry flagship store is the first of Modi’s retail boutiques in India.

The 6,000 square feet space is spread on two floors, capturing the elegance and enchanting qualities of Modi’s jewelry. Throughout the space, the contrast of materials reflects a sense of highly tailored ambience, and a dynamic experience. Jamie Hayon’s sense of playfulness is visible all around the boutique.

The design presents the jewelry in an installation-like atmosphere, creating a truly unique user experience. One of the features of the space is an innovative high-end lacquered table. The unique design is suspended from the ceiling, creating a focal point and an element of surprise.

Lavish white Carrara marble throughout the space contrasts against hues of vermilion red found in furniture pieces.

A mirrored stairway leads to the first floor, with its dedicated bridal salon and a workshop where artisans craft jewels as customers look on.

A continous organic shaped counter fills almost totally “The River Room”, a very carefully designed space where jewels are shown and costumers enjoy the experience of trying Nirav Modi’s exclusive pieces.
