Form Us With Love has developed a unique pendant that grows to your needs. Initially the Hood pendant was developed in collaboration with ateljé Lyktan as a one-off piece. Seeing its potential, the modular piece was added to the permanent collection.

The Hood modular lamp starts with four identical corner parts that create a dome structure. The unique aspect of the design allows for the piece to grow acording to your needs. Curved sides, and flat top sections can be added to create impressively large structures.

We came up with the idea for Hood when we moved to our new studio. We needed a flexible light source and sound absorbent above our conference table as the studio is open-plan and with a very high ceiling.

All panels feature elegant seams folded outward around the edges that connect to each other through small pegs. The three different types of modules are made out of polyester felt and they can create pendants that measure from 1200×1200 mm up to 1800×3000 mm at its biggest size.

In principle we should be able to expand on the size of Hood infinitely.

Large scale design can transform the pendant into a stylish canopy over large surface areas. Felt adds acoustic qualities to the pendant, making it ideal for workspaces. Out of the several colours available, we love the vibrant red for creating a statement in a neutral interior.
