German designers Neuland Paster & Geldmacher have worked in collaboration with Italian manufacturer B-LINE to create a modular shelf with minimal visual impact. The painted steel modular shelf draws inspiration from the fin of a dolphin, where it also got its name from.
The minimal design projects from the wall to provide a surface for books, turning them into furnishing objects. The shape of the shelf allows new gravity-defying compositions to take shape that float across the walls. The dynamic compositions bring a breath of fresh air to the typical wall mounted shelving systems.
With Fin, the German designers Neuland Paster & Geldmacher overturn the classical arrangement of volumes and propose a new modular concept for the walls of book lovers keen on design.
