German design company Schneid has developed a versatile lighting pendant that allows you to easily change the lampshade and adapt the lighting to your mood. The Eikon Pendant was recently honoured the German Design Award for its functionality, operability, durability and aesthetics.

Eikon is composed of two essential elements: a wooden base and an interchangeable lampshade. The socket is made of certified ash, oak or bamboo, emphasizing the minimalist and clean lines. The lampshade is made of either metal or silicone, and is attached to the socket through magnets.

The lampshade and textile cables come in a variety of colours, from classic minimalist black to vibrant gradients. By easily changing the lampshade, the lamp can be adapted to different environments, or simply help you rearrange a room again and again.

The two different styles of lampshades make it a great choice for residential, as well as commercial spaces. Eikon is a great choice when used as single pendant or in clusters for fun colour combinations.
