Spanish design studio Dsignio has created a nest inspired ceramic tile series for Peronda Group. Titled Laccio, the new relief-patterned series has been nominated for the Best Wall Tile of the Year by the TTA Award.
Dsignio took inspiration from the way birds build their nests, creating a dynamic surface decorated with interlacing ribbons. These ribbons run from one tile to another, forming a fascinating interwoven pattern, emphasized by the slight relief texture of the tiles and colours of each ribbon.
The collection comes in a wide variety of neutral colours: white, pale cements, grey cement, warm wood or stained white wood.
Laccio is a new concept in tiles, a comforting nest that snugly envelops living spaces.
Take a look at how the team from Dsignio designed Laccio.
