Seattle based manufacturer Standard Socket collaborated with Robert and Granger Moorhead to create the Chipboard Light. The sculptural light pendant uses planar chipboard in a creative way to achieve an elegant, organic form.
The chipboard is lined with a reflective poly material and is formed by folding the shade over a handmade pine cone. The chipboard is then locked into place with a simple tab.
The light pendant evokes the minimalism and elegance often seen in Standard Socket’s designs.
