The Chimney lights are a collection of hand thrown clay pendants by designer Benjamin Hubert for Viaduct. The lights are produced using a technique known as slip-casting (liquid clay poured into plaster moulds). After casting the lights are hand painted with a terracotta slip.
The lamps use natural clay for the region of Wales, where they also produced. The inside of the lamps is glazed in white as a contrast to the textural rough exterior.
The Chimney lights come in two sizes: the tall version measures 21cm dia. x 33 cm H, while the wide version measures 32cm dia. x 28cm H.
