Jonas Hoejgaard in collaboration with Scandinavian design company Nordic Tales, created a wooden fixture that turns an important everyday function into an aesthetic experience. Like ever other Nordic Tales product, Bright Sprouts was designed to tell a story and create a bright spot in everyday life.
The Danish design invites users to be part of the story telling by choosing the essential elements that make the Bright Sprouts. Users need to combine the Bright Sprout with a cord and light bulb. The fabric cord comes in seven colours, while the wood is available in oiled, soaped and smoked oak.
The elegant light was designed to fit most incandescent and energy saving bulbs, but it also offers two bulb options directly from Nordic Tales. The colour and finish combinations add up to a potential 60 different Bright Sprout configurations.
The product arrives in a special designed packaging, inspired by a nutshell. Inside, Bright Sprout lies enclosed in wood shavings, ready for mounting right out of the box. The packaging can be reused as decoration, pen holder, or even a vase.
