Cathrine Baekken, in collaboration with Standard Socket, has recently introduced the Booi light at the WantedDesign NYC in May, 2014. The designer drew inspiration from the mooring buoys found across the coastal towns of Norway.
The minimalist design consists of two elements: wood and glass. The turned wood handle has a tactile quality, and gives the pendant elegance. The glass diffuses the light, providing a soft glow.
Booi is available as a pendant, cluster, and a table lamp.
