Studio Kuadra designed a new clock, for Italian company Progetti, that invites people to observe birds, or even better, the cuckoo, in the woods. Bird Watching is in fact a table cuckoo clock dedicated to all lovers of sports.
The ironic, yet stylish design is composed of two distinct cubic parts, connected to each other and freely positionable. One element, the clock, consists of a stylized watch tower, in black-painted wood. On the ‘roof’ of the tower, two birdwatchers silhouettes are placed, attentive and ready to photograph.
The second element, was envisioned as a tree with a little bird hidden in the center among the foliage. This volume is entirely covered in MOSS by Verde Profilo, a natural lichen that can be used indoors, even in rooms lacking natural light, without undergoing changes.
