The Spanish lighting company Arturo Álvarez introduced in 2013 the inspiring Tati collection. The collection was designed by Arturo Álvarez himself drawing inspiration from the symmetry and patterns found in nature.
A round shape with texture woven into circles that repeat themselves to make up a skin, a shell. We turn our gaze at the symmetry of recreated nature. This pendant composition keeps on depending in the circular forms as a group in the space. It has strong emotional components, it reminds of a maternal embrace.
Tati uses a special silicone mesh material that can be washed with water and soap. The texture itself is maleable creating a tactile experience through different shapes and forms. The collection includes wall sconces, table lamps and pendant lights that come in various sizes and five different colors.
The organic shapes and innovative material transform Tati into a sculptural piece that doesn’t seize to inspire.
