Recently displayed at the ARCOmadrid Contemporary Art Fair, Encontros by Arturo Álvarez is a group of slender light sculptures that seem lifelike in form. At first sight, the sculptures appear as extremely plain and basic in form, however a closer look reveals that every piece is unique and different.

The subtle light shines through the sculpted rope human forms, giving out the impression they are interacting with each other and the viewers.
