The ALEAF Chair was born as a collaboration between Michele Franzina and Venezia Homedesign Team for DesignYouEdit. The wraparound design of the chair may seem like a rigid structure at first. However, the entire concept behind the chair is its flexibility. Designed as a flexible chaise lounge and armchair in the same time, ALEAF can be used for relaxation or as a temporary workstation.

The seat, back and armrest were all created as part of the same continuous and sinuous structure. The flexibility of the structure allows for better ergonomics, creating a more comfortable seating. The structure of the chair involves stress-resistant polyurethane foam on a metal frame, and a tubular metal base. The chair comes fully upholstered in different covers and colors.
