The innovative Afillia lighting collection by Alessandro Zambelli for .exnovo has been awarded the ADI Design Index 2014 Innovation Award. The collection was included earlier this year in the 2014 Edition of the ADI Design Index, a publication put out yearly by the Italian Association for Industrial Design. This prize has been given annually since 2008 with the aim of highlighting the most innovative products in the Italian design arena. It is awarded to designers and professionals whose projects, products or services have been included in the ADI Design Index publication for the same year and stand out because of the new materials, processes and technologies used. The award recipients are also chosen for driving significant changes in individual and social behaviour, in critical approach and applied research.
