Italian design company Progetti has announced its participation at the upcoming Maison&Objet, in Paris 5th-9th September 2014. At the upcoming edition the company will present furnishing accessories, clocks and cuckoo clocks, representing the quality and innovative design Made in Italy. The products will be on display in the section now! design à vivre, where design can be lived to the full and new generation designers invent, play, experiment and create forms by combining and mixing styles in amazing ways.
Progetti confirms the collaboration with two young Italian designers Gianluca Minchillo and Manuel Barbieri, by featuring the umbrella stand Flut by Minchillo and the cuckoo clock Ball and Dandy by Barbieri. The international fair will also include other products by the two designers.
Flut by Gianluca Minchillo
Contemporary umbrella stand in metal with a square base element on which a series of ten cones of different heights are mounted and designed to hold the umbrellas. It is not only a useful object, but also a design accessory which decorates and livens up entrances to houses, offices and buildings. There is also the possibility of combining more pieces together.
Cucù Ball by Manuel Barbieri
Cucù Ball is fun and witty, made of a central body containing the clock and the “little bird”, it comes with a series of cylinder-shaped objects in different diameters and colours available both in warm colours (as in the picture) and cold colours.
Cucù Dandy by Manuel Barbieri
A vintage and dandy-inspired taste with an aged appeal. The “mustache” can now be placed also on a desk or on a shelf giving an elegant and ironic touch to the room. Made of wood, Cucù Dandy is available in two colours, complete classic black or white.
